| Facing the lens with a maniacal stare and a booming rapid-fire voice Jerry Carroll, was spokesman for electronics chain Crazy Eddie for over a decade. These tv spots were a hallmark of New York City area television throughout the late '70s and well into the '80s, he yelled, he threw things, he flailed his arms about, and New Yorks TV audience loved it! After a few years Eddie Antar opened stores in over 40 locations spreading into Manhattan, the outer boroughs, Long Island and New Jersey. Despite the rapid growth Eddie never wavered from the keys to success -- terrific audio and video products and these unique advertisements.
